Satoshi GOTO

Born in 1966. Living in Tokyo. I began to photograph at the age of 13. I start caving in 1982 and began to take cave photos in 1988. Mainly I takes photos in Japan. Sometimes I takes photos in cave expeditions or excursions of foreign countries.

At the same time, I put effort into the cave rescue and exploration techniques.

I introduced SRT and rescue techniques to Japan from abroad. As a result, I am a councilor of the Speleological Society of Japan from 1998 and I was the president until 2008-2011, and now I have been appointed the president again. Also I am a general secretary of Asian Union of Speleology form 2015 and one of the adjunct secretaries of UIS from 2017.

Now I have spent half of cave activities to take cave photos and the other half, put effort into the cave education both in Japan and in Asia.


Takashi MURAKAMI

Born in 1976. Living in Yamaguchi. He works at the Cultural Property Protection Division of Mine City Office as a special researcher of speleology. He has more than 17 years of caving experience and very talented caver especially vertical exploration, cave rescue, and cave survey. He has been involved in many exploration and research at Akiyoshi-dai where one of the largest karst areas of Japan. Recently he managing the survey project of Akiyoshi-do that is the famous and one of the longest caves in Japan, and discovered new big passages. Also he play an important role in cave education as a vice president of the Speleological Society of Japan from 2018.


Yukiko NAKAGOMI

Born in 1986. She began to caving at 2004 and join several explorations and surveys in Japan and also went to China exploration from 2006 to 2009.She is a one of Satoshi Goto’s assistant and model about 10 years and joined several ICPM(Italy, Turkey, USA).


Sota TABU

I started caving from the junior high school science club. For six years at junior high school and high school, I was active in the local karst plateau(Hirao-dai), but I expanded the scope of activities from the university and participated in last year's International Cave Photographers Meeting in Carlsbad, USA and the Middle East Speleological Symposium 4 in Turkey.
